I finally found the worst show ever..

"What happen in Bali" ( or as I like to call it "The worst drama ever made")
In my sleep less nights I stumble upon this drama. Made in 2004 with 20 episodes and it has one of my favorite actress Ha Ji-Won.  I figure whats the worst that can happen right??
Boy... How I wish I could get my time back.
The show in a few words..  Pretty people + spoil people + Stupid people + gun = very angry me...
Ok here's the actual plot...
Male A is engage to marry female B, both are pretty, privilege, self-center and most importantly they don't like each other. Theirs is an arrange marriage between two powerful families.
Female B is actually in love with her old boyfriend ( yes, Im calling him Male B, is less confusing this way). Male B, is an average Joe ( a very good looking one) but he is poor. So he could do nothing when Female B broke up with him to marry Male A. So he packed up his stuff and moved to a different country. Are you wondering were Female A is? Yeah, me too...
anyhow.. Somehow these 3 people end up together in Bali where we finally meet Female A. She also very pretty but a bit dim. Female A is poor and dreams of meeting a rich man that will take her away from her poverty. She works as a tour guide in Bali, and ends up giving our happy trio a tour.
I guess I should point out that Male A believes his future wife ( female B) came to Bali to meet her lover and is not very happy. He may not love her, but she is his toy darn it.
Bali teaches us a few things that will become important
1. Male B & female A are meant to be because they keep meeting everywhere(its a K-drama cliche)
2. Male A is an a$&, who assumes that anything can be fix with money
3. Female A has really crappy luck and the worse oppa ever.
After the trip because of different reasons everyone is back in South Korea.
also because its a drama their paths keep crossing.
Female A ends up living next door to Male B. Male B works for Male A's company.  Then Female A ends up working in the same company. Soon we have our love triangle in full swing. If you are wondering why this is not a love square, its because Female B turns into such a sad character, shes basically a drunk for rest of episodes.
Its here where the story goes even more crazy. Both our Male characters become obsess with Female A. She basically strings Male A along because he is rich. Yet seems to honestly care for Male B.
It all culminates with Male A finally telling his family he cant live without Female A. Which leads to his dad actually sending thugs to get rid of her, and disowning him. While all this is going on Male B gives Female A a plane ticket to Bali to come with him. She accepts and the next time we see them, they are both happily playing in a pool enjoying life. Happily ever after...... lol.. nope..
Back in SK, Male A is sick with worry still trying to find his beloved. He then learns that his company is in ruins because Male B embezzle about 30 million dollars from them. All the signs seem to point to Female A also being in on the scam since the beginning.
Heart Broken Male A flies to Bali and sees the happy couple enjoying life. Next we see him talking to shady character and buying a gun.. you all know where this is going right?
We are now back to happy couple in bed. Male B tells her that he knows she does not love him. She can go back SK to be with the one she loves. She's in tears and agrees, saying that "her pride never let her admit how much she loved Male A" ( by now im pulling my hair!!! really you had to sleep with another guy to realize you loved someone else?). Zoom out to the end of the bed where Male A is pointing a gun, he shoot them both. ( This made me too happy!!) Before she dies, she looks at Male A and wispers "I love you" ( whatever!!). Male A  burst into tears, walks out towards the ocean and....... shoots himself.

This is how it ends people!! everyone dies, no one got a happy ending. Nothing was learned or gained in these 20 hours. I'm still amazed that there's people that consider this one of their favorites. Why?  This drama left me empty, cold, and extremely angry.. So I made it my life's goal to keep people away from it.
Ok till next time people😀

What's in the bag?

As most of you know my cat went to cat heaven this past weekend. After much crying and feeling sorry for myself, I realize that my other cat was also going through its own grieving period. The poor thing sits on my vanity, stares at itself in the mirror and meows nonstop. No this is not something it's used to doing. It's new! It just started Saturday afternoon ( Ronnie passed way Saturday morning).
So now I'm trying to do everything  possible to get it to cheer up. Which in my case means buying stuff ( yeah, it's also meant to cheer me up).  So this is why the following conversation took place..

I come into house with huge bag..
Bro: what's in the bag?
Me: Cat toys!
Bro: more? Did you not buy it a bag full on Sunday?
Me: well, yes but these are different. Tiger is going to like these ones. I was in the store and told myself to think like a cat. What would I like to play with? What looks fun??
Bro: You are too weird.

10 mins later I come out of my room completely defeated...
Bro: should I assume that you and your cat don't think alike??
Me:  :0p die!!

All joking aside, I really need to sleep and the cat meowing is not helping. So If anyone knows of ways to help it, please help me out.

White Christmas episode 1

When you fall in love with something it's really hard to write a short review of it. The point of writing a review is because you want people to love (in this case a show) as much as you do. With that let's start my review of White Christmas.
The show takes place in a school somewhere in the mountains of Korea. An elite School, where the only .1% attend. Basically it's a school for genius children. It’s such a tough school that students attend year around for 3 years. They only get 8 days off every winter. The story begins on December 24, with all the kids rushing to buses, ready to leave what they call "Alcatraz". Here we meet Park Moo-Yul he is staying behind making sure everything is locked. Why is he here? Is he by himself? I'm feeling bad for him. Then we hear him a a voice over. “The story I’m about to tell is about my fight with a monster, and how I had to become a monster myself for eight days to fight it.”
We then see him in his room holding a black envelope which he opens and reads.....
"You tainted me, made me pitiful.
You made me a monster in the corner.
You silenced me.
You ridiculed my false hopes.
You took the only thing I had and put it around your neck.
I held out my hand to you and let you go.
You deleted me from your eyes.
Finally, you overtook me.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
After eight days, walk up the path by the Zelkova tree.
Under the clock tower, you will see someone dead.
The night that Jesus was born, I curse you."
0-0 what??? We now know why Moo-Yul stayed behind. He wants to know who wrote the letter? Is it real? Is someone going to die? Or is it someone's idea of a joke. I should probably also mention that the security system for this place is amazing. They have cameras everywhere, watching everything. Now we hear the PA system calling everyone to diner. The rest of the cast introduce by a boy holding a camera and recording everything. He is Yang Kang-Mo, the resident IT guy who happens to either be deaf, or have a hearing impediment since he has a hearing aid over his left ear. He introduces us to the prettiest girl in the whole school, Eung-Sung. She seems like a quiet, sad girl. Also here is a shy boy named Lee Jae-Kyu, who freezes when the camera is pointed at him. Kang-Mo pans the camera to our next guest. Yoon-Soo, a tall lanky boy that everyone calls "angel" (we later find out that they called him this because he is extremely rich, therefore no matter what he does. He never gets in trouble.) An extremely well dressed boy arrives, he is Choi Ji-Hoon the smartest boy in school. Last but not least and to Kan-Mo's displeasure we have Jo Young-Jae, the ever necessary class bully. So that's our cast six boys, a girl and the teacher that stays to take care of them, Yoon Jong-Il. One big happy happy family. Not really. The diner is fairly quiet with everyone keeping to themselves.
Teacher tries to keep them entertain by telling a ghost story. Yet what the teacher is most curious about is why  so  many of them stayed in school. No one gives him a straight answer, but they are saved by the campus alarms going off. Moo-Yul, teacher, Jae-Kyu and Kang-Mo ran to check. At the school gates they see a bloody hand. There's a person attached to it and he seems to also have a head wound. Once inside teacher helps the man clean up. Moo-Yul calls the emergency number only to be told that there's been a very bad accident on the highway. Since the man’s injures are not grave they can't come get him.
Mmmmm... One more guest to our party!! How can I keep all this characters names straight. It doesn't help that for some reason all this boys are incredibly tall (including the teacher). So there's no way I can just say “the all one”. Ok.. back to the story.
While “accident man” is being dealt with Young-Jae has follow Kang-Mo outside. They argue and Young-Jae accuses Kang-Mo of messing with him. How can he send him a letter like this. He pulls out a black envelope from his jacket. Kang-Mo claims innocence, which only angers Young-Jae even more. They fight, only stoping when Kang-Mo says he also got one too. By now there's two more people with them Moo-Yul (who we know also has a letter) and Jae-Kyu who also admits to getting a letter.
The next morning finds all our seven students  gather around a table all of them holding a black envelopes. Well except Ji-Hoon who says got one too but threw it away. He admits that the only reason he stayed behind was because he wanted to do his homework in peace. (I love this guy, every line is deliver in a cold  careless tone. Yet whenever he speaks everyone listens). No one admits to sending the letters. Eung-Sung wants to tell the teacher but they also can't agree on that. They dont know if the letter is real or not, and they dont really feel innocent. Finally Eung-Sung says  “The innocent one will tell the teacher”. Then teacher walks in (everyone hides their letters) with “accident man” whose name is Kim Yo-Han. He is a psychologist, who will be staying with them till the roads clear up. Fun! The more the merrier!!
Moo-Yul and Jae-Kyu are now on detective mode. They begin to question everyone and start finding clues that relate to the letters. Like in Yoo-Soo case, who had been using drugs and when high he hallucinates. He sees a "blue monster in the corner”. At dinner time the radio tells them about a serial killer that's currently on the lose in the city. This leads Ji-Hoon to ask the table "are people born monsters or are they created?” Which leads to a very good argument about nature vs nurture ending with Moo-Yul saying that no matter the reason the person is guilty. They choose to commit a crime knowing it was wrong, so they have to be punished. This whole conversation is being watched on a laptop in a different room. This a new person, a boy with red hair. Ah!!!! Is this the letter sender??? Is he on school ground?? Ahhhh!!!
More investigating takes place, Moo-Yul and Jae-Kyu go back to talk to Yoo-Soo who is high again. They ask him about the monster he sees. Can he describe him? Does he remember anything about it? Yoo-Soo is in tears, rolling on the ground and only remembers one thing. The monster wants to eat Eung-Sung, he wants to destroy her. So where's Eung-Sung during all this? We find her talking to “accident man” who I mention earlier is a psychologist. She sits to tell him her story, then we see her walk out of the school. She seems to be in a trance, and is just walking in the snow. Now we see Moo-Yul and sidekick running trying to find her. Next shot Eung-Sung is on the ground as the camera zooms out we see that the snow is slowly turning red. Eung-Sung has cut her wrist.
Omo!! This is just awesome. We got so much information in one hour. Yet we don't know much yet. Who send the letters? The kid with red hair, one of the seven, another person? What did the psychologist say to Eung-Sung? Who the hell is this man, and how did he end up in the school? I can't wait for the next episode. It's a mini series so there's only 8 episodes and I hope to be able to write about all of them.
